“Profit in business comes from repeat customers, customers that boast about your service and that bring friends with them.” W. Deming
So what did you do today to make your business incredible?
That might seem like a silly question, but really think about it. At the end of the day, what did you do to make your business incredible? Every day you get up and go to your business this should be your ultimate outcome.
Now… I’m not saying that you need to have an incredible moment everyday, it can be as simple as making coffee or emptying the trash, because the underlying result of these two things make your business incredible. Still not believing me? That simple task of taking out the trash is a big deal. Have you ever been to a business and found a disgusting bathroom you didn’t want to walk into? Yep. We all have been there!
You may not think that taking out the trash is a big deal, but if you leave it until tomorrow or a week from tomorrow… it get’s stinky and gross!
So what else is stinking up your store or office?
Today walk through your business with “fresh eyes” meaning walk through as a customer and find all the “strange” things that are out of place, dusty or odd. Then freshen it up.
Next task… check your website. It’s just time to see if you have any old photos or deadlines and update them! It’s easy to do and will have a big impact.
I know, it’s not a traditional post about social marketing, however, social marketing comes in all sorts of varieties. Creating a wow factor gets people talking and it’s a very nice thing to hear you have clean bathrooms! People do share that sort of information…
Create repeat customers that bring their friends! Start with bathrooms, do a walk through and check the status of your website!
