Don’t stop. If you have an idea on a last minute promotion… just do it. Create it. Make it happen.
I got home from the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and said, “I have not made those four Christmas sparkle shirts.” – ugh. So, just made them! I was tired, but the time is now… check them out! I went from 5 to 9 doll shirts…
If you enjoy getting the email announcements for specials and discounts on Black Friday… guess what, your customers want them too.
If you can’t do a sale for your whole business, don’t — pick one item and make it real special. I have received some of the craziest examples. I mean who would have thought you could get discounts on personal trainers for Black Friday? I didn’t think of that!
What used to be a “retail only” holiday sale has now turned into EVERYONE should be creating promotions for this day because your customers are anticipating it! Now even if you don’t have a sale, you can have a promotion.
But do something! It’s a spectacular time to create a “contact moment” with your customers… especially if it’s unexpected. Your customers want to hear from you… why not do it and create a extra sale or two!
