Episode #68 – Work Hard AND Rejuvenate to Motivate Yourself

audio blog break your pattern Business owner motivation free app get motivated marketing motivation motivation for small business play hard podcast small business club small business tip Two Minute Commute work hard

“I never dreamed about success, I worked for it.”  Estee Lauder

Gosh… that’s easy to say, however, you may not feel motivated – every day can feel like the same grind. Especially when you are trying to increase sales or increase traffic to your website. It feels like no one is out there! Probably because you’re doing this on your own, that’ s the lonely part of being a small business owner.  So the best thing to do is break your pattern!

Go for a walk. Listen to music. Find a TED Talk. Read a magazine.  Do something not related to your business at all.  Play with your dog.  Give your mind a break.  There are more ideas in my article “Ways to Stay Motivated as a Small Business Owner” on BigFishIdeas.com

You have to “Rejuvenate to Motivate” yourself!

Work hard! That’s where success comes from… but at the same time remember take a break.  It is hard to accept this because then you feel like you’ll get behind even more, however, if you can take a 15 minute or 30 minute break, it will help you stay fresh!
