Saturday Blog Topic: Try this
How do you create a memory? This is one of the most important things you can do at your business.
Believe it or not… you are creating memories every day! They should be good, but the might be “not so good”.
The irony is, what is creating the memories… I’m guessing you can think back to a special moment and the craziest thing will jump out as the memory maker.
Look at this photo…
It’s beautiful, right?
Well, Disney has a crazy budget for making the most beautiful landscapes around their parks and hotels. They’re perfect photo stops for… memories!
It doesn’t say “take a photo” but the scene is so inviting you want to take a photo. Disney is where I learned that it’s OK to create a garden of potted flowers. It never occurred to me prior to seeing it that that is a thing…
Do you see what I did there… I have a beautiful photo from my trip and it’s not just the memory of the vacation, but the “good idea” from the special moment that has lasted with me.
You may be saying… “but I don’t have a store front, how can I use this tip?” You can create memories via your social feeds and emails. Ask customers for stories of how your products helped them.
Share these memories.
The good vibes will build on themselves!
