Happy Saturday! It’s time to “Try This”!
This is a real world example of a Facebook post I did last summer. We received a really big ugly bundle of shrinkwrapped something.
Well, not exactly “something” it’s a huge pallet of Aqua Water Mats. What on earth is an Aqua Water Mat? It’s a giant raft. They fold up and fit on a boat really nice… but they are very stable and you can fit around 5 or 6 people on it. It makes for a really fun way to enjoy the water with friends.
I used this idea to generate interest in our new delivery. You can see the ugly pallet… and I asked the question, “What colors have arrived”?
This type of post does a couple things with respect to your Infinity Marketing Machine. You get immediate interaction. People that follow you will chime in their guess. That’s a fun thing!
But this also has the ability to give your customers a “behind the scenes” look at your business. Normally our customers come out and see the water mats on display – they look fun and colorful! When you see a photo like this, it’s just a peek into what we do on a daily basis.
You can do this too… you don’t even need a giant forklift, haha. The next time you receive a delivery of merchandise via UPS — take a photo of the cardboard boxes and post with a question, “What did we get?” — it’s a fun way to build loyalty with your audience.
