Oh Goodness, the power of that quote! If this quote doesn’t motivate you on this “middle of the week” post… wow… we need to chat!
You not only have the power to change someone’s life, you were born with it. That’s some powerful stuff.
Have you ever thought about this and how it relates to your business?
Every day you open your shop… sit down at your computer… or show up to meet your client… you have the power to change their life! That product or service you sell is a LIFE CHANGER.
It’s easy to understand this if, let’s say, you are a dentist or orthodontist… You straighten a child’s teeth, that new smile changes their life. If you own a dance studio and that child performs on stage, the child learns self-confidence, the parents are filled with joy watching their child at class. AKA life changers.
At other times it might be more difficult to understand how you’re a life changer…
Example: earlier today I was asked what my favorite part of Japan was and I said, I visited a really cool Zen garden. There was a stone path that lead to stepping stones that ran across a lake – it was amazing. You actually experienced a feeling like you were walking on water. At the end of the path there was a gift shop… and they had Oreo Cookie ice cream bars! I missed Oreo Cookie Blizzards from Dairy Queen! So it was as if a piece of home traveled half way across the room to celebrate the coolest Zen walk with me. I don’t know about changing my life, but it was 26 years ago and I STILL remember this experience as part of my most favorite place to visit in Japan.
You sometimes just don’t know what product or service you offer that will create magic, just trust you have that ability.
Now go, get to work… create some magic!
