I was flipping through my feed and came across this post and a couple ideas came to mind.
A couple ideas that you can keep in mind as you look for free things to implement that will increase your sales.
If you remember going to a Blockbuster “back in the day” – you’ll remember a couple things… spending up to an hour to pick the best movie. Think about that… you spent time at a store deciding what movie you were going to watch.
Now we binge watch on our phones.
It was an event!
The first comment on this post stopped me in my tracks… she said it was an event and it really was.
Make your shopping experience “an event” – the words you use in your post are the equivalent to walking around a Blockbuster and dreaming about the best movie you want to see.
You read a post and get drawn into the details. If done well, you will imagine yourself using the product… much like when you picked up a video and thought about the people you would watch the movie with and what a great time it would be…
Then you walked by the candy and popcorn… and soda! You could almost taste the popcorn! Sell things that make the product you are selling a complete experience. Take it to the next level and by all means make it easy for your customer.
What goes with a movie… popcorn! If you sell a product with a natural product pair – sell it.
So that’s two great ideas for free from this one post… create an event and make it easy for your customer by selling the companion products!
