Saturday: Try This!
Earlier this week I traveled “downtown”. I live in the suburbs so going downtown is always slightly overwhelming…
So imagine me driving up and down the aisles of the super narrow parking ramp that’s below the sky scraper… it’s like making corners where you simply assume you’ll make it without hitting any other cars but you’re just not sure.
So I took a left and there was an odd set up – cars parked and a shelving unit with lots of auto parts… I’m like “what the heck?”
I parked, looking back, I’m pretty sure I wasn’t suppose to park there… but I did. I got out of my car and encountered this at the elevator.
What a fantastic idea. You can get your oil changed right in the parking ramp. OK maybe I’m a little late to the game on the parking ramp oil change thing… but think about how you can use this idea at your business.
No… don’t start an oil change profit center.
BUT do start a make it super convenient where your customer is at location. There are two ways to do this… offer a service when they visit you OR off your service off sight.
The oil change is offering your service off site.
An onsite service would be like the old school days when you could drop your film to be developed off at the grocery store. In today’s terms, it would be like offing a service for clients to drop off dry cleaning…
That gives you two things to think about.
What service can you bring off site OR what can you bring on site to make life more convenient for your customers.
