Saturday Blog Topic:  Try This!

I think I’ve got an obsession with table cloths right now…  Yesterday I wrote about the Waffle House and their Valentine’s Day marketing strategy for table cloths and flowers at their restaurant…

But recently I went to a restaurant where the table server grabbed a magic marker and started writing her name on the table cloth…  She even did it upside down…

Well, upside down while she was writing it was right side up for us. LOOK

They use brown construction paper in a roll that they rip off for each table as the guests arrive.

It’s practical for clean up – but it’s also “shocking” and memory making.

This is why I’m mentioning it… what can you do to add fun to your customer’s visit.

Look to the most mundane process and spice it up.  Is it the bag that you use… is it the wall in the bathroom… there’s something at your business that you can make a talking point… just find it.
