Tribeology: Learn It. Do It. Profit. Decide who you want to work with, attract them, and sell them things they want to buy! It really is that simple.
Saturday: Try This
Your best customers are the customers you already have.
Believe this.
This is why impulse items were created… OK I have no idea if this is why they were created. But you know that feeling when you’re at the check out and you just HAVE TO HAVE the thing at the counter?
OR maybe it’s the ability of the National Enquirer to write compelling headlines that end up in your cart (fine, Magnolia Magazine).
What ever it is that makes you just HAVE TO HAVE it that’s what I’m talking about.
Look at this…
It’s genius.
I went to doggy daycare and right on the counter are “brush up” trainings!
It’s perfect (when you think about it) – get your clients to pay for the thing that will benefit you the most… in the business view, having a better trained dog will help make their job easier, and getting the customer to pay for it makes them money.
However, it is presented in a way that the dog owner wants it!
Dog training is super important… so this is an amazing offer. It’s a captive audience, an impulse item, and an emotional win! Your dog goes to school without having to make another trip or appointment. They are not selling, they are serving their customer!
How can you serve your customers in a similar manner? Think about this and find the way to make their life easier and promote your business.
Maybe you can put an “assembly required” thing together, offer pre-packaged treats for school, to-go dinners, pay in advance and pick up the “thing” at the check out counter.
When you switch from selling to serving it opens an entirely new way to do business!
