You may see that question and say, “of course”. I don’t want to work for someone, I have a passion for my product or service… the list goes on and on.
But is there a bigger why. Look at this package of dog treats…
“This bag gives to shelter dogs” that’s the most important message on the package. Sure it’s the Campfire Feast… but when you buy, is it because it’s campfire flavored dog treats or is it because you want to help shelter dog?
Most likely to help the shelter dogs.
This is important because if you are passionate about a “why” then use this dog treat bag as a role model. They have positioned their “why” as the focal point of the business.
Now… I didn’t buy the bag, I simply took a photo, therefore, I’m not sure how much they give to shelter dogs… or what they give… but the message of giving is special.
This type of messaging is wonderful for attracting and growing your tribe, people who like the WHY are very loyal.
