Don’t want to spend a lot of money… but want a big impact? Create a photo book!
We used these photo books at the Minneapolis Boat Show! They are wonderful. Our crew member put a lot of time into them… and you know what… they were worth every minute! They tell a story, well not A story – they tell OUR story.
Here’s the funny part, we did not take photos for the books. We had great photos and decided that a photo book would be a great tool to help sell our services!
In Minnesota we have a difficulty with winter and boating… we market our services, but when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground it’s hard to get a great idea of what we do. Some customers can visualize it, but others… can’t. That’s when we bring summer to the customer via flip books.
It’s super easy to make a great book online. The reason I mention this idea is because we needed to plan ahead and get great photos of our services so we could use them in the winter.
As a Big Money Small Change idea – take photos, and take a lot more! You never know when you’ll need them… but it’s much better to have them when the idea comes to you!
It may be a good idea to hire a photographer. Smart phone camera are great, but there’s something about a professional photographer way of seeing things that becomes helpful! Again, you might not know why you’ll need these photos… but you’ll be happy you have them!
