When you bake cookies, you need sugar, flour, salt, eggs, and some other ingredients.  If you get the proportions out of whack, for example, you screw up the salt and sugar.  I mean they look alike, right? 

Instead of a teaspoon of salt and 2 cups of sugar you mix it up and have 2 cups of salt and a teaspoon of sugar, you have some pretty yucky cookies.

Therefore, the ingredients are important, but the quality of the ingredients are crucial.

The same thing happens in the recipe for customers you need to attract them, but what are you attracting?

Let’s say you are looking for women business owners.  So you place an ad on Facebook targeting women who own businesses.  Perfect right?

Maybe not.  You have the ingredients of sugar and salt, but your accounting business is targeting accountants. YIKES.

To make sure you have success in your result for attracting a tribe, make sure to be specific in who you want to work with.

In our example, more time should have been spent designing the perfect avatar for your business.

When you identify your perfect customer, such as a small business owner of restaurants in suburbs of a specific state you will have much better targeting success than to simply place an ad for small businesses.

Spend that time to define who your ideal customer is and you will be much happier with the result.

Today – pick one profit center of your business and get specific of who your ideal customer s in that area.
