It’s so real!
Here I am saying, “develop a list, provide content, consistently”. Sounds easy. But you’re all “I don’t know what to write, I don’t feel like creating content, and OMG have you seen my hair, I can’t go on camera with that!!”
Well… let’s start at the beginning
You don’t have to have a super finished master plan in the works to be successful. You already have a business running.
What our goal is with Tribeology is to add security to a very crazy social media plan.
If I described you above in the “I don’t know what to _____” then tribeing is great — getting on a consistent content producing schedule will bring calm to your day. (HA! Like that’s possible)
Well, that may be the goal and in reality it doesn’t feel achievable, but look at this — would your day be better if you had a group of people that you could make a small one page PDF that was the “Top 7 ways to _____” that you knew would really be helpful and they would love VS. creating a random post because you “have” to?
YES
How about this… by creating this “Top 7 ways to ____” in an email that you send out and you know will reach all of the email boxes of your customers, does that make it feel like less of a “chore” and more of a “dang, this feels like a good use of my time” mission?
YES
Now, the best part — if you’re emailing something that reaches the entire list… isn’t it cool that you can put a link into the email for a product you sell AND have people buy it?
OH HECK YEAH!
Here’s the deal. Tribology is creating a group of people you want to create content for – in turn you are rewarded by a stable group of people that buy things. This is why you’re doing the hard work of consistent content.
When you jump the hurdle and mentally change from “have to” to “want to” create content your possibilities really do become endless.
People will buy things from you, your email list becomes a mini-ATM — you cannot say the same about your social media feeds. Your list becomes a valuable asset to your business AND ultimately it can become a profit center.
