“Your net worth to the world is usually determined by what remains after your bad habits are subtracted from your good ones.” – Benjamin Franklin
Welcome to Midweek Motivation! Do you have bad habits? Of course you do. We all do.
The question is how many good habits do you have and what does your balance sheet look like? Meaning… Benjamin Franklin was a pretty smart guy. I don’t think we should start to look at our balance sheet as an excuse to have bad habits. That’s kinda defeating the purpose.
Rather, understand that your bad habits are just that… habits. Just like we have good habits we also have bad habits. What we do repetitively is what we become, therefore that bad habit can go away by implementing a better habit in it’s place.
So for me… I love Diet Pepsi. It’s a bad habit. I drink too much of it… so I’m wondering if a better habit is Diet Coke? HAHA — no, a better habit would be iced tea or even better…water. See… bad habit becomes good habit.
I’ll be sure to think about that as I enjoy my Diet Pepsi! You see my Bad Habit is good! Yummmmmmm
I’m not sure if that was really motivating, but it did make me laugh! Have an awesome day.
