How do you position yourself as an expert? Let’s back up… why do you want to be viewed as an expert?
You want to be viewed as an expert to increase your credibility. There are lots of ways to make a nice website and have people think you’re real… but positioning yourself as an actual expert will improve your credibility.
Anyway, back to my first question… HOW do you position yourself as an expert?
You can easily do it by forming a group.
Seriously.
Do you remember a long time ago when you had “after school” clubs and activities? It’s been a while, but I remember having Girl Scouts after school and other things like dancing or baton lessons.
Well… there was a leader and they formed the group and guess what… their leadership in the group and the group itself built the credibility.
This is a great way to position yourself as an expert!
But in today’s times… you can form a group on Facebook and people will gather, share thoughts, and you as the leader, will earn credibility.
Here’s the fun thing – by going live within the group you can have a fun atmosphere of communicating in real time. People can write in their comments… it’s actually a nice way to communicate and share your knowledge… which builds your credibility.
Now, you don’t have to go live… so if you’re freaked out by being on camera, it’s OK! It’s still an amazing way to bring a group together.
That’s your task, bring together a group of people and start communicating!
